Two Young Fans Dead After Game Changer Event

It is tragic that in the pre-release event of Game Changer held at Rajahmundry, two fans – Arava Manikantha age (23), and Thokada Charan (22)- lost their lives in a road accident while returning home. Once again, it brings into focus the perils that go with mass promotions of a movie.

Films often bring dangerous scenarios for Indians. There was an instance where one fan died due to mishaps at the event of the movie’s pre-release, and barely anything was implemented about safety conditions.

The recent example would be Pushpa 2 whose first day function saw a stampede killing one lady and sending a son of her into a state of coma.

Manikantha and Charan were riding back to Kakinada on their bike when they skidded into the ground near Rangampeta Mandal.

The impact was fatal, and they were rushed to hospitals; however, they could not survive. Their families now broke.

These recurring tragedies call for immediate action, but accidents at outside venues are much more unpredictable and out of the control of production houses.

Fans need to treat safety as a top priority, and fandoms must respond responsibly. Only then will movie celebrations be joyous, and such sad consequences be avoided.
