Unexpected Sequel Threat To Prabhas!

Adipurush was scheduled for January 2023 release as Sankranthi kanuka. But due to various reasons and the backlash it received after unveiling the teaser, the film has been postponed to April/May 2023.

Now there are reports that Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan: Part 2 is also targeting an April release. The makers are keen to release the film on April 28, 2023. There are also chances of PS-2 getting preponed by two weeks and release during Tamil New Year.

But Rajinikanth’s Jailer is already announced for Tamil New Year so Ponniyin Selvan 2 might lock April 28 date.

Mahesh Babu’s film SSMB28 in the direction of Trivikram was scheduled for that date but now due to delays in shooting, the film will not make it on that date. So Adipurush makers are looking to lock that date. But if PS-2 is also targeting the same date, it might create some problems for Adiprusuh.

In Tamil Nadu, the hype for PS-2 is huge and Adipurush will not stand any chance. In Hindi too, the sequel factor might create some damage for Adipurush.

Sadly, the troubles don’t seem to end for Adipurush.
