Unexpected Trouble for RRR Evening Shows

Reports are emerging that this year’s edition of IPL may happen from March 27th to May 28th (Finals Day). With Corona cases in control, the matches will happen in India only. IPL is the most popular sports season and is always a potential spoiler for the evening shows of the movies.

The tournament will start on the third day of SS Rajamouli‘s RRR and will continue to impact the film’s run. As these matches happen in the evenings and nights, the all important first and second shows will face the heat.

Films like KGF 2, Beast, Acharya, and Sarkaru Vaari Paata will also face the brunt. Venkatesh and Varun Tej’s F3 is announced for May 27th release. The important Finals will be played on May 28th which will be the second day of F3.

But then, the filmmakers will be hoping that Summer advantage will negate the IPL impact to a large extent. This schedule is not officially announced but is likely to be more or less the same.
