Allu Arjun was growing parallel as a star, in the US along with the Telugu states during the Julayi to Race Gurram time. At that point, many genuinely put him ahead of other stars. However, with a Boyapati Sreenu film and DJ that opened weakly and later either struggled to touch Million or barely scrap through Million, he has seen a fall.

Naa Peru Surya, therefore, arrives at a unique juncture. It is a totally unknown identity at moment. It could go anywhere. With good word of mouth it can be a big winner and if the opposite happens, it could be a nightmare for Bunny stardom wise. The trade would be closely following its performance as it would be a reflection of stardom of Allu Arjun.

Son of Satyamurthy and Race Gurram are benchmarks for Allu Arjun as a star. The former for opening and the later in the long run. Either way, we are in for a surprise. Let us see where it ends up eventually.
