PS-1 has now officially crossed Kamal Haasan’s Vikram, Tamil’s highest-grossing film of 2022. Vikram had grossed around $2.9 Million in its entire run which is overtaken by PS-1 even before the third day run.
PS-1 has now also become the first Non- Superstar Rajinikanth Tamil movie to enter the $3 Million club in the USA. The film has been grossing $1 Millon+ for three consecutive days, which is simply phenomenal.
Despite mixed word-of-mouth and average talk, the film is trending excellently which has come as a huge surprise for the distributors and exhibitors. Now the film is expected to touch $5 Million in the long run in the USA.
After the stunning performance of the first part, the stage is all set for Ponniyin Selvan- Part 2 which is expected to release in the Summer of 2023.
