According to the comedian, Shankar has no real talent but manages with graphics. There had been a bone of contention between them when they worked for 2006 super hit film ‘Imsai Arasan 23aam Pulikesi’. Shankar produced the movie and Chimbu Devan directed it.

Vadivelu claims that Chimbu Devan had no clue about direction, and has no grip on the story and the characters. So, he helped the director in writing and also the direction.

The differences further increased when Shankar announced the second part of the movie in 2016, and the project was left incomplete.
