Couldn’t Bear Producer’s Nonsense – Actress Walks Out!

Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, daughter of actor Sarathkumar was very excited when she landed a role in the new Malayalam film named Aakasha Mittayee with Jayaram and director Samuthirakani. However, upset with the behavior of the film producer, Varalaxmi has now walked out of the project.

When Varalaxmi had initially got the role, she was joyous and had shared her excitement on social media tweeting how happy she was to be back in the Malyalam industry. However, after just two days of filming, the actress has walked out of the project citing male chauvinism of the producer. She tweeted about the issue saying that she can’t work with male chauvinists and mannerless producers and thanked director and hero for supporting her decision.

As for the film itself, it is a remake of director Samuthirakani’s own Tamil superhit ‘Appa’ and will mark the debut of the director in the Malayalam film industry.
