AD to Remake Scrapped Arjun Reddy?

‘Varmaa’, the Tamil remake of ‘Arjun Reddy’ was scrapped and now, the impending question will be, who would be directing the fresh version of ‘Varmaa‘. Director Bala chose to totally relieve himself from the remake and now, the new version will have a new director. Obviously, speculations are rife on who would be the director.

According to the latest rumour that has been circulating, one of Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s assistant directors, Girisayya might take up the mantle to direct the movie with Dhruv Vikram in the lead in the shoes of Vijay Deverakonda. There is no official confirmation on the same, as of now. If the makers choose an assistant director for helming the project, aren’t they taking another risk, again?

It’s not only a challenging role for the lead actor but also a challenging intense film for the director, as well. So, we are sceptical if a newbie can do any justice to the remake. Let’s wait and if Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s associate will be the chosen one while the director of the original is still busy with the Hindi remake of the same, ‘Kabir Singh’.
