Varun Tej takes precaution gets Puri

After the debacle of his debut movie Mukunda at the box office, Varun Tej and the think tank behind him have decided to not do any more experimentation and do a full-fledged commercial entertainer as was initially expected from the actor.

There were reports doing the rounds that Varun Tej’s next after Mukunda would be with director Krish of Gamyam, Vedam and Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum fame. As one can guess by the list of the films mentioned, the director is far removed from a typical commercial set up. The actor didn’t want to get slotted into that ‘different’ movie category hero and has decided to postpone his film Krish and got Puri Jagannadh instead.

C Kalyan would be producing this film which will be going to sets soon after Puri Jagannadh is ready with script work. Incidentally Puri was supposed to launch Varun Tej with Heart Attack but that didn’t materialize back then. Let’s see if the director can re-launch Varun Tej as a commercial star again.
