Venkatesh in Malayalam remake

Actor Venkatesh will once again be seen doing a remake after the recently released Masala. This time he will be acting in the remake of super hit Malayalam movie Drishyam which starred Mohan Lal in the lead. The original which released a week before Christmas gave the Malayalam superstar much needed big success after ages, according to the trade.

Drishyam is a thriller cum drama directed by Jeethu Joseph. The Telugu remake will be directed by Sripriya who had also directed the yet to be released Malini 22. Incidentally Malini 22 is also a remake of critically acclaimed hit Malayalam film. Suresh Productions and Wide Angle Creations will jointly produce this remake. Other details about the cast and crew of the film are expected to be known soon.
