Venkatesh ready to work for free

Actor Venkatesh is currently going through a transitional phase, where he is looking at doing some interesting projects that offer him scope for doing something new, rather than do the regular commercial stuff. One film that he accepted during this phase was biography on Swami Vivekananda. The actor had expressed his interest many a times recently do to the film and even a director Mani Shankar’s name was announced as director for the film.

Unfortunately a film on similar subject has been made and this film starring Venkatesh has to be shelved. However the actor makes it clear that doing a film on Swami Vivekananda is his dream and if anyone comes up with a completely new script he would readily do it. In fact the actor has also added that he would do it for free as it would be blasphemy to charge money for a film on Swami Vivekananda whom he considers his spiritual guru. Any budding director’s out there, are you listening.
