Venkatesh’s recent film Narappa skipped theatrical release and went for OTT release. In fact, the team didn’t budge despite the fans request to release only in theaters.

Back then it was rumoured that Suresh Babu productions had decided to have Drushyam 2 and Rana Daggubati’s Virataparvam have an OTT release. But looks like the producer has changed his mind.

With theaters getting operational and many films have announced their release dates, things seem to be bright. Meanwhile, Suresh Babu who also has a chain of theaters will make them operational with Orey Bammardhi and Paagal this week. On the other side, the ticket issues in Andhra Pradesh may also get resolved by the month-end.

With things on the brighter side, it is rumoured that Venkatesh’s Drushyam 2 may cancel the OTT release and have a theatrical release. If this happens, then Daggubati fans who were disappointed big time with the Narappa OTT release would be happy this time at least. However, one has to wait for an official announcement over the same.
