Victory Venkatesh may be in the last phase of his career but he surprised the Box Office experts today with the overseas rights of his upcoming movie, Masala. The rights were sold for a record 1.2 Crore rupees which is the highest for any Venkatesh movie with a huge margin. A new entrant (on anonymity) in to overseas business reportedly bought the movie shelling the whopping price and is releasing it through FICUS, a leading overseas distributor. The movie is all set for release on November 14th.
The big price quoted for the movie is due to the entertainment value of the movie and presence of Ram who also have reasonable patronage in Overseas. The distributor hopes to make it big with this film hoping all these factors work in his favour. FICUS is gearing up to give the movie biggest possible release in Overseas. Lets hope for the best!
