Vijay Deverakonda Becomes Over Patriotic?

Vijay Deverakonda has signed back-to-back films and one of them is Jana Gana Mana which is being directed by Puri Jagan. Vijay plays an army officer in this film whose shooting will start soon.

Another news about Vijay Deverakonda’s yet another project in the direction of Shiva Nirvana came out. What’s special is that Vijay will be seen as an army in this film as well. The film is partially set in Kashmir and being an army man, Vijay falls in love with the heroine Samantha.

Seeing the similar roles, one cannot understand why Vijay Deverakonda chose back to army roles. It is really quite surprising as historically, these army roles have rare success in Telugu.

Also, when one plays an army man, the getups too would be similar and nothing much can be done when it comes to the hero’s look. But Shiva Nirvana is a sensible director and we will have to see how he will overcome this similarity and showcase Vijay and Samantha in a new manner.
