Vijay Deverakonda – Siddu: Combo Packs

In an encouraging development, Tollywood is witnessing a surge in young talent. The likes of Vijay Deverakonda, Naveen Polishetty, Adivi Sesh, Siddhu Jonnalagadda, and others are taking big strides in the Telugu film industry now. Apart from the fact that all these young actors are carving a name for themselves all on their own without any background, there is another common point between them and that is – they are all writers.

Vijay Deverakonda apparently assisted Tharun Bhascker in scripting Pelli Choopulu and he had also given a few creative inputs for Arjun Reddy. Adivi Sesh, as we all know, is deeply involved with the scripting part of all his films. Naveen Polishetty is a talented comedy writer, who was previously with All India Backchod and later co-wrote Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya. Now, Siddhu Jonnalgadda is treading a similar path.

Siddhu co-wrote Guntur Talkies, Krishna And His Leela, and also his latest film, DJ Tillu, which is going great guns at the box office.

The good thing is that all these young actors are getting involved with their projects right from the scripting phase and that is paying them rich dividends. Well, the onus is on them to build on the positive momentum they have gained and the best way to do that is coming up with winnings scripts. Ultimately, Telugu audiences are served fresh and exciting content.
