Vijay Deverakonda Signs His First-Ever Straight Bollywood Film?

Vijay Deverakonda is the one of the most happening heroes in Tollywood in recent years. The actor is currently starring in Puri Jagannadh’s Fighter which is made on a Pan-India level. Buzz is that he also signed his first-ever straight Bollywood film.

Buzz is that the film is based on Balakot Air Strike that took place in 2019. Talented director Abhishek Kapoor of Rock On! fame will direct this film. Sanjay Leela Bhansali along with Bhushan Kumar will jointly bankroll this pan Indian project.

Deverakonda will be seen as Abhinandan Varthaman who was captured by the Pakistan troops at the border. Abhinandan was later released by the Pakistan Government. The film will also have reference to the Pulwama Terrorist attack which happened last year.

Fighter is being planned for Summer 2021 Release. This movie will go on floors after that.
