Vijay Sethupathi In A Tollywood Sequel Project?

A day after Rakshasudu 2 got announced, the sequel of 2019 hit, the makers have reportedly finalised the star starring in the sequel. Buzz has it that Kollywood star Vijay Sethupathi who shot to fame with Uppena has been approached by Ramesh Varma.

It is rumoured that the director pitched in the plotline of the physiological thriller to Vijay Sethupathi. The actor has shown interest but he is yet to take a call on it. Vijay Sethupathi is the toast of South cinema at present and has many projects in his hands.

Having a jam-packed schedule, Vijay Sethupathi is trying to accommodate his dates for Rakshasudu 2. So an official confirmation about Vijay Sethupathi starring in the sequel is awaited. The actor is a popular face among Kollywood, and he got familiar with Telugu audiences with Uppena.

With his stellar performance in Uppena, Vijay Sethupathi is one of the go-to actors for filmmakers. Ramesh Varma fills that by having Vijay onboard for Rakshasudu 2, he would take the movie to next level and he would also do justice to the thriller. Work-wise, Rakesh Varma is currently working on Ravi Teja’s Khiladi, while Vijay Sethupathi has Vikram also starring Kamal Haasan and Fahadh Faasil.
