Vikram Shades In Nag’s Ghost

Nagarjuna’s The Ghost is lined up for release on the 5th of October, during the Dasara holiday season. The makers are dropping the promotional material now.

Team Ghost dropped a new video with the title “What is Tamahagane” a short while ago and there is one interesting observation on the same. In the video, Nag prepares a sword all by himself to take on underworld thugs.

The said video has evident shades of Kamal Haasan’s recent blockbuster, Vikram. The dark-lit visuals and the gangster drama theme in the video share a close resemblance with Vikram and a section of netizens opine the same.

Also, Nag’s Lonewolf characterization and also the pumping background score have an overwhelming Vikram vibe.

Notably, even Nagarjuna is in need of a solid blockbuster as he hasn’t delivered a single box office monster in the recent past, much like Kamal Haasan before Vikram. This sure should excite Nag’s fans.

Can Ghost be to Nagarjuna what Vikram was to Kamal Haasan? We will know the answer on the 5th of October. Ghost is directed by Praveen Sattaru and it has Sonal Chauhan in the leading lady role.
