Trailer Talk: Action Packed But Predictable

Actor Madhavan is a powerhouse of talent. He has many roles to show and live up to that reputation. Vijay Sethupathi is an emerging and fast raising talented actor who has had few solid movies too. When these two come together, fireworks are bound to be expected.

And that is exactly what we get with the theatrical trailer of Vikram Vedha which brings Madhavan and Vijay Sethupati together. It is a solid trailer packed with punches right from the beginning, but for the same reason, it also feels rather predictable. The “no-good, only-bad” theme is fine, but it gives a familiar and predictable vibe based on the visuals in the trailer. Here’s hoping there is something unexpected and fresh in store in the actual movie.
