Vikrama Simha unlikely to release for Sankranthi

In all probablity, Rajinikanth’s magnum opus may not come out during Sankranthi next year as it was planned recently. A source from the film’s unit tells us that the post-production work is yet to be completed and that Soundarya is not happy with the final cut of the film.

The film has already been postponed several times and nobody knows what has been the exact reason for its postponement several times. One of the reasons that surfaced few months back was that since A.R Rahman didn’t complete the background score and re-recording, the release had to be stalled. It could have been one of the reasons because Rahman is known for composing at his will and usually takes time for completing a project.

If the film doesn’t release during Sankranti, then it will really help the other films slated for release during that time. Kamal Haasan’s Vishwaroopam is likely to release during that time and it is likely to enjoy a good run at the box-office.
