Villain turns hero for the remake!

Remember Vidyut Jamwal, the actor who played negative roles to glory in the films Thuppakki and Billa 2? The actor is now going to head the remake of a blockbuster South Indian film in Hindi.

The film that is being remade is Karthi and Tamannah starrer Paiyya (Awara in Telugu). Lingusamy who directed the original will be directing the remake as well with Vidyut Jamwal as hero. This isn’t the first film for Vidyut as hero but it’s going to be a first for the director making a film in Hindi.

This decision to remake his own film in other language has come as a surprise to many since there were couple of other projects rumored to start soon after his last release Anjaan.
