Virupaksha Gets It’s OTT Release Date

Sai Dharam Tej made a good comeback with Virupaksha. This is the first time he tried his hand at content driven films and it paid off as Virupaksha had a good run at the box office and provided him with timely commercial success.

Coming to the topic, Virupaksha has sealed its OTT streaming date and here’s an interesting update on the same.

Virupaksha will be made available for streaming on its official OTT partner Netflix from the 21st of May. An official announcement on the same is expected to be made by Netflix shortly.

Virupaksha had its theatrical release on the 21st of April and exactly a month later, it is set to stream on Netflix. This is about standard OTT release window that is exercised by Netflix.

The film is a mystic thriller, a genre that had decent patronage amongst the OTT folk. So it’s OTT prospects look bright. But can it actually strike a chord with the Telugu OTT folk? We shall wait and see.

The Karthika Dandu directorial has Sai and Samyuktha Menon in the lead roles.
