More than the twists or performances, Virupaksha’s technical values have contributed a lot to its success. The sound design, the camerawork, and the background score succeeded in a big way in giving the audience of watching an atmospheric mystic thriller.
Now, Maruthi, who delivered a disaster Pakka Commercial, is coming up with a film with Prabhas. Unlike Virupaksha, which was a serious, no-nonsense horror film, this Maruthi film is going to be a horror comedy.
With Virupaksha, the Telugu audience has experienced a horror film with terrific technical values. So Maruthi has the task of coming up with a film that has better effects and technical values than Virupaksha. He has to take the audience experience to the next level and can’t afford a technically mediocre film which invoves some vfx work.
Maruthi isn’t exactly a tech-savvy director, but for the Prabhas film, he has to up his ante and hone his skills as a director to extract some exceptional work from his technical team.
