Vishal’s Father Rejected Offers for NTR & Ram Charan

‘Pandem Kodi’ that came 13 years ago was responsible for Vishal’s popularity among the audiences of B & C centres in the Telugu States. Now, the hero is coming with the sequel ‘Pandem Kodi 2’ and the trailer released today had the same intensity as the prequel.

Talking at the trailer launch event, Vishal shared a few things about ‘Pandem Kodi’. Back then, directors who wanted to remake it with NTR, Ram Charan etc. approached Vishal’s father for the remake right. But, his father didn’t like to give away the rights as he felt that it’s the correct launch for his son in the Telugu State. True to his prediction, Vishal has earned a base in the B & C centres by the virtue of this movie.

This decent base set by ‘Pandem Kodi’ has helped his films in collecting decent numbers, many times. Even, the sequel’s trailer is promising enough and gives us a hope that Vishal is coming with a proper mass entertainer with the genre he is adept at. Heroine Keerthy Suresh is an added attraction who reminds us of Meera Jasmine’s vibrant character in the prequel.
