Purushan is being directed by Sundar C and stars Vishal in the lead role, with Tamannaah playing the female lead. The film is being made as an action entertainer and has been progressing with its shoot in different locations.

Vishal and Sundar C have worked together earlier on Aambala and Action. Their previous collaboration, Madha Gaja Raja, is also part of their filmography.

For now, the focus is on Vishal’s recovery, with the Goa schedule put on hold following the incident. The team is expected to resume the shoot once the actor is ready to return to the sets.
