Young hero Vishal has this penchant for addressing the social issues besides acting in films. Recently, he has been very active and also critical in social issues. Along with Prakash Raj, he met Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley concerning the farmers’ loan waiver.

This happened when Vishal came to know about the farmers’ protest in New Delhi demanding loan waiver. So, he thought that meeting them personally and extending a helping hand would get attention to the farmers’ issue. Vishal has got a solid reason to defend for the farmers’ cause.

When the government can waive corporate loans to benefit the wealthy, why can’t it do for the poor farmers who are facing dire poverty in remote villages is the logic behind Vishal’s support for the loans’ waiver. Hope, the government of Tamil Nadu and the Central government listens to his pleas.
