Vishwak Sen More Ambitious, Japanese & Spanish Too

The term pan-India is slowly fading, with the film industry now shifting its focus to pan-world or global cinema.

Even mid-range films are eyeing international markets. One such ambitious project is Cult, a new-age party thriller inspired by real events starring and directed by Vishwak Sen, which officially began shooting today.

Vishwak is introducing 40 new faces through Cult, giving fresh talent a platform.

While the plot is still under wraps, he has promised a unique story that blends intense action with fresh themes designed to appeal to a global audience.

The film’s dialogues are being written by popular director Tharun Bhascker, which adds more buzz, and the music is being composed by KGF fame Ravi Basrur.

What truly sets Cult apart is its global approach. The film will be released in multiple languages, including Japanese, Spanish, and English — a rare move for a Telugu film.

Vishwak originally planned to stick to direction but later chose to play a key role in the film.

Vishwak is currently going through a very bad phase. After a series of flops, he delivered an extremely poorly made film like Laila. Now, Vishwak has taken the onus on himself and is directing Cult himself, with the script also written by him.

We will see if these Global Ambitions are ambitious or over-ambitious in days to come!
