Vishwak Sen’s Cult First Look: Raw, Bold and Bloody

Mass ka Das Vishwak Sen has been one of the highly regarded multi-faceted actor-writer-director of Telugu Cinema. He is donning directorial hat again for his upcoming movie CULT. The makers have released the first look poster of this ground-breaking slasher film.

The poster captures him in a stern, menacing avatar, walking through a pool of blood with a heavy axe in hand. This visual identity, combined with the tagline “India’s First Slasher Film,” signals a departure from traditional commercial cinema toward something much more visceral and daring.

Beyond the gore and style, #CULT is a massive undertaking that balances raw talent with industry expertise. While 40 newcomers make their debut, the film is grounded by a powerhouse technical crew. The collaboration between writer-director Vishwaksen, dialogue writer Tharun Bhascker, and music director Ravi Basrur creates a formidable creative trio.

Under the Tarak Cinemas banner, the film is being prepared for a wide international release across five languages, including Spanish and Japanese.
