Finally justice prevailed in the case of Kamal Haasan’s Viswaroopam. A Madras court heard the arguments of both the parties and finally Viswaroopam’s advocate was able to convince the court that there is no point in banning the movie Viswaroopam and all the allegations made were far from true. The lawyer representing the group who wants to ban the movie was not able to establish that the movie had actually intended to hurt the sentiments of Muslims. So the court had ruled the judgement in favor of Vishwaroopam’s makers. And now the 15 day ban on Viswaroopam could be lifted. We can expect an official announcement regarding the same soon.
