Kamal Hassan’s Vishwaroopam had received one more blow. The movie which was released in AP today was stalled by the Government. Home Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy had ordered the Police department to stall the movie release in the state fearing communal clashes on the occasion of Milad-Ul-Nabi. However, the orders are not clear as few theaters in the state have stopped the screening and some are still screening the movie.
It is known to our readers that Tamil Nadu Government had banned the movie for 15 days after objections from some Islamic groups. Later, Kamal Hassan appealed against the order in courts, Madras High Court deferred the release till 28th. With all these problems, Kamal Hassan is due for huge losses.
