Devi Sri Prasad is delivering two to three good songs per album, and that has been the trend until recently where he failed to give the expected with a couple of biggies. With Vunnadi Okate Zindagi, he delivers something that is better than those biggies, but they aren’t the blockbuster variety at the same time.
A comparison with Nenu Shailaja and Shivam would be evident as they come in the same combination of hero and music director. Vunnadi Okate Zindagi would get the third position as an album. There are decent songs on the album, few with catchy lyrics, but the problem is they lack the chartbuster appeal like say, a “Crazy Feeling” or “Gunde Jaripotondi” possessed. As of now only “What Amma” seems to have that potential, but it isn’t assured.
With less than two weeks to go for release, the album might not be that helpful in the way the makers would have expected it to be. Vunnadi Okate Zindagi hits cinemas all over on October 27.
