Wasting Money on 2.0 Promotions

When a movie of such large scale as ‘2.0’ is coming within a couple of days, naturally there would be a lot of promotional activities going on. Speaking at ‘2.0‘ Movie Press Meet for the Telugu media, Rajinikanth seemed to be in a happy mood and was seen talking with a sense of humour mingled in his words.

In a lighter vein, he said that the audiences have been waiting for the movie for years and hence, the Telugu distributors needn’t waste money on promotions. The Superstar was also seen cracking jokes on director Shankar who rendered his speech in Telugu, unlike the last time when he spoke in English when Shankar came for ‘Enthiran’ promotions. He was better than many Tamil technicians and artists who come to promote their movies in Telugu.

Rajinikanth seemed to be in all of his good elements exuding confidence that the movie will be a successful venture. Director Shankar appealed Telugu media to support the movie and prove the world that grand scale movies are made in India, as well. Tons of money was involved in the making of the movie and hence, requested the Telugu media to encourage the sci-fi thriller. ‘2.0’ team came to Hyderabad and it was brief interaction with the Telugu media. This mega-budget movie is all set for a worldwide release on 29th November.
