M9 News Journalist Nishant spoke with Natural Star Nani about his December 7th Release, Hi Nanna. We asked him about the trailer hinting at very little entertainment.
“There are no separate comedy tracks. But there can be comedy invoked in conversations. This is a film I will be proud of and I am very confident of its success,” Nani said.
He spoke about why Mrunal Thakur is not promoting the film as much as she should have.
He spoke well about the new director Shouryuv and Music Director Hesham.
“Hesham is here to stay. He is the next big thing in the industry,” Nani confidently says.
The actor also spoke about the criticism on Hi Nanna promotions being forced.
“Yes we tried something forced. That’s because Politics occupied the mood of the people completely and I had to do something to pull that. At the end, the film is noticed. I am happy about it,” he said.
The actor also reacted to the negative comments about him on social media.
“I don’t care about them. They take one or two lines out of context and outrage for no reason. I feel sorry about how they survive in their personal lives with this negativity,” he said.
He also responded about a personal photo of Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika flashed on the Big Screen of the Hi Nanna Pre-release event.
“That’s unfortunate. It’s a mistake by some crew. We did not want to make a scene because they may be already terrified about losing their jobs after the goofup,” Nani told.
When told people on social media feels that it is a publicity stunt. “No, it was a honest mistake. I did not reach out to them because they are friends and would understand what may have happened. But if they are hurt, we will truly apologize on behalf of the team,” he added.
