Watch: Rajamouli Was Very Hurt On Mahesh‘s Film Set

M9 News Journalist Nishant sat with Legendary Mohanlal and Actor-director Prithviraj Sukumaran ahead of the release of their L2: Empuraan on 27th of this month.

Both of them sounded very excited about the humungous opening, the movie has taken and hopes it will be a Red Letter Day for the Malayalam film industry in the Pan-India markets.

“I hope whatever records we create with this film will be short-lived. Another film should cross it immediately so that the industry thrives,” Prithviraj Sukumaran said.

We asked them why the movie is not called Lucifer 2.

Mohanlal expressed his opinion about the dialogue “Rajaneeti Ek Dandha Hai” and explained his opinion about Politics.

They explained in detail why locations scouting for the film took two years and how elaborately they shot for the film in various parts of the Globe. He also spoke about shooting at a place where Openheimer was shot

Speaking about doing the film without spending a single penny on their Remunerations, they explained the idea behind that.

“It is not that we are heroes and Telugu Heroes are Villains. I know many heroes who worked without taking Remunerations. Prabhas and Rajamouli Sir did the same for Baahubali,” Prithviraj Sukumaran said.

He also revealed why Rajamouli was very disappointed on the sets of Mahesh Babu‘s film.

We also asked Mohanlal about his Dream Project on the lines of ‘Ocean 11‘ in which he wanted to cast all the actors across the languages. We asked him who would be his pick in Telugu actors.
