What a pity! Navdeep under paid?

Navdeep who is undoubtedly has talent and good voice even! After Krishna Vamsi’s ‘Chandamama’, Navdeep seemed to be very promising for small budget films. But no great film came his way afterwards though he tried variety of roles. He potrayed hero characters, second hero, appeared in cameos and even played negative characters, but somehow his career didn’t go high. Instead he is still struggling.

Recently, Navdeep was seen in Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘Ice Cream’ in an under written role. He didn’t make much impact though he came up with good performance as per the limitations of his character in the movie. And after RGV declared the cost of production of ‘Ice Cream’ (Rs. 2,11,832) , people eagerly got discussing how it was possible to make a movie with such less amount. But what one forgot to ponder upon if that the amount includes the actors’ remuneration.

RGV revealed that his unit members accepted to take their salary/remuneration only after the film gets into profits zone. And according to RGV, the film already earned its production cost. Thence, if the film made 500% profit, then the total earnings will be Rs.10,59,160 (from which the production cost to be deducted). Then what amount would main male lead Navdeep get as his remuneration? What amount would heroine Tejaswi receive? These days for even a small budget film’s hero, the remuneration isn’t be below Rs.10 lakhs. So what about Navdeep and Tejaswi?
