What To Watch: Simple Film You Will Not Regret Watching

We are nearing the end of the nationwide Lockdown. Our readers in Telangana may have to wait a little longer. It is interesting to see if the Lockdown will be relaxed after May 3rd/7th. While the question would be answered by the Prime Minister in a few days, M9News would help our readers to kill the boredom until then.

Hindi – English film, The Lift Boy is streaming on Netflix. It is a coming of age story of a 24-year-old vagabond who has to replace his father when ill as a Lift Operator in a posh building in Mumbai. It is a simple film with fine casting with decent performances.

He is initially reluctant but gradually gets used to the friendly residents. But the twist in the story arrives when his father reveals an unlikely truth that changes his perspective of life. The climax of the film is particularly heartwarming and poignant. It is that kind of film which you will not regret watching.
