When Harshavardhan Rane said no to Bollywood

He may just be a few films old in Telugu industry but Rajahmundry-born Harshavardhan Rane has grown as a strong actor in very little time. Awaiting the release of his forthcoming film, “Prema Ishq Kadhal”, Rane revealed he had turned down Bollywood opportunity to concentrate on his career in Telugu.

Apparently, Rane was offered to the role of Deepika’s brother in Ram-Leela, but he politely turned it down because it was a small role and he said that he would instead do a big role in a small film than do a small role in a big film. He was working on Avunu when the opportunity had come to him but he turned it down and it paid off for him because Avunu was very well received by the audience.

In ‘Prema Ishq Kadhal’, he will be seen in the role of a Rockstar while he is also getting ready for the release of Anaamika, Telugu remake of Kahani.
