Who Is Behind Pooja Hegde’s Bad Decisions?

Pooja Hegde had a dream run at the box office before the pandemic with a double hattrick of successful films. But post-pandemic, most of her films have been miserable flops. Acharya, Cirkus, Beast, and the list goes on.

Her last film, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, with Salman Khan, turned out to be a disaster, though she was the film’s only saving grace.

Now it is being reported that Pooja Hegde has signed a film with Shahid Kapoor, which is going to be the remake of a decade-old Malayalam film, Mumbai Police.

The film’s subject might have appealed a decade back, but now people have seen a lot of content more shocking than Mumbai Police, and remaking it in 2023 doesn’t sound exciting. The film recently had a Telugu remake, Hunt, starring Sudheer Babu, which was a washout. It is surprising who is handling Pooja Hegde’s assignments and making her sign such dull and unexciting projects.

Pooja Hegde’s one and only promising film is SSMB28, rumoredly titled Guntur Kaaram, starring Mahesh Babu and directed by Trivikram. Trivikram is a pro when it comes to showcasing heroines in the most appealing way and giving them memorable roles. Pooja Hegde’s biggest hit remains Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo which was again directed by Trivikram.

Let’s hope Pooja Hegde bounces back in a big way, as this film is her only golden chance.
