Why Charmee was so picky on the title?

When an actor gets a super hit movie and if a sequel is on cards, naturally the expectations on part-2 would soar up and hence a lot of pressure lies on the shoulders of the film makers. Speaking during the audio launch event of ‘Mantra 2’, heroine Charmee spoke in length about her reservations on picking up the title.

Why was Charmee so picky on the title? Though she says she is confident on the film’s success, indirectly she holds the producer and the director responsible for holding on to the title ‘Mantra 2’ inspite of her reservations. Very tactfully she transfers the responsibility on the makers. Story is the hero of the film and hence the hit and flop credits would go only to the director of the film reflects the actress.

Though she says to fans, “If the movie becomes a superhit, I request my fans, the full credit must be given to the producer and the director. If the movie emerges a flop, then you know who should take the blame”, indirectly she suggests that the responsibility should be taken up by the makers if at all the movie flops. Charmme seems to be talking in the context of expectations that would rise when compared to superhit ‘Mantra’.
