Post the success of Singam 2, Suriya revealed that he would be interested in doing a straight Telugu film. The actor, who is still groping in the dark about his next project, is believed to have met filmmaker Puri Jagannadh recently and discussed about possibly working together.
According to a source from the industry, Suriya met Puri recently to discuss some script. However, one is not certain what was achieved out of this meeting because Suriya would be only person to throw more light on this matter.
One believes this would be a great time for Suriya to do a Telugu film since he is riding high on the success of Singam 2, which turned out to be a decent commercial hit in Telugu as well. One needs to wait to find out if project between Suriya and Puri will ever take shape.
