Why Dil Raju Did Not Take Amazon’s Vakeel Saab Offer?

Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s Comeback film, Vakeel Saab shoot resumed the other day in Hyderabad. The Superstar is not included in the shoot and may join the team after a few days. The film will be wrapped another 28-30 working days.

A few days ago, we have heard Amazon Prime Video giving a fancy offer for the film’s OTT release. Rumors are that Amazon offered as much as 110 Crore for Dil Raju for the movie Rights. However, Dil Raju refused the offer. The contention is that Amazon Prime Video wanted the film as an Amazon Original which Dil Raju did not agree with.

An Amazon Original means the movie will be available only on the OTT platform and can not be screened anywhere. Dil Raju wants to give only the Online Rights for Amazon for 110 Crore and wants to sell the Satellite Rights separately. At this juncture, the deal did not happen.

Dil Raju is now waiting for the theaters to re-open so that the movie can release for Sankranthi 2021. Vakeel Saab is the official remake of Bollywood Blockbuster, Pink directed by Venu Sriram. Shruti Hassan is the heroine who will be seen alongside the actor.
