Why is Vinayak doing this for Akhil?

Seems director VV Vinayak will gradually turn a specialist in launching star kids as heroes in the industry. After Bellamkonda’s movie ‘Alludu Seenu’, Vinayak is going to become the launch pad for Akkinenis latest entrant Akhil. According to the available info, Nag is hell bent on having a mass entertainer for his younger son’s debut.

Obviously Vinayak is the best choice for regular pot boilers. For Bellamkonda Srinivas, the director roped in the best team to see that the film gets the right exposure and the debutante actor also is noticed well. Top heroine Samantha, versatile actor Prakash Raj, top music director Devi Sri Prasad, best cinematographer Chota K Naidu and best of writers Kona Venkat-Gopi Mohan; all big names came in for Srinivas.

At the end of the day, inspite of the fact that Srinivas showed brilliance in dance and promising performance, the credit went to the big names mentioned above. Coming to Akhil’s movie, it is learnt that one of the top music director SS Thaman will deliver music for Akhil’s movie. Added to this, popular writers Kona Venkat and Gopi Mohan are going to pen down the script. Seems many big names would join the unit soon because Nag wants to see his son as a hero with mass image.

Akhil’s case is entirely different from Srinivas’ situation. Akhil already has a lot of craze and popularity for being one of the successor from the reputed Akkineni family, one of the pillars of the Telugu Film Industry. So using all big names might downplay his abilities. Inspite of his performance, the credit might be accorded to the top technicians who work for his film? What do you think?
