Why Jagan Wants To Keep Chandrababu Away from Vizag?

Vishakapatnam is known as the forte of the Telugu Desam Party. The people of the city became closer to Chandrababu Naidu for his excellent work during the Hudhud Cyclone. Despite the crushing defeat in the 2019 election, TDP managed to win all the four MLA seats that come under Vishakapatnam City.

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy seems to be keen on breaking that relationship and it is one of the reasons, he is looking at Vishakapatnam as the next capital of Andhra Pradesh. We have seen how the YSR Congress cadre created a ruckus at Vishakapatnam Airport and stopped Chandrababu’s tour a few months ago.

Even the high court rapped the Police for playing Fidel to the Ruling Party leaders in that incident. After the incident of LG Polymers, the Government has been trying its best to stop the Opposition Leaders from touring the affected areas. The other day, Naidu sought permission to take a flight from Hyderabad to Vishakapatnam.

As if to stop Naidu, the State Government refused to open Vizag and Vishakapatnam airport from today. Civil Aviation Ministry announced that the State Government asked them not to operate flights for Monday citing no reason. The general feeling in the public is that this is to stop Chandrababu coming to Vishakapatnam. The question being asked by TDP cadre is Why Jagan fears about Chandrababu coming to Vizag?
