Why KCR did not meet Naidu?

In the last week, there are couple of media reports that Telangana CM KCR will be meeting his Andhra counterpart to invite Naidu in person to his Ayuta Chandi Yagam to be held later this month. But in both the occasions, the meeting did not happen. There are murmurs in both the camps that the meeting may not happen at all.

Telangana TDP leaders do not want such meeting at any cost as it will send wrong signals to the cadre ahead of the crucial GHMC elections. Also this will coincide with the time KCR is trying his level best to decimate T-TDP by encouraging defections.

TDP’s Greater Hyderbad President, Maganti Gopinadh termed TRS as Pakistan, extending friendship on one hand and on the other hand working against the same. TRS also do not want KCR to invite Naidu as TDP should not take political advantage of Naidu attending KCR’s Yagam when that party is working against the interest of Telangana. They say Telangana chief minister would send someone to Vijayawada to invite the AP chief minister very soon.
