Why Mahesh texted Arjun?

Personally Prince Mahesh Babu made it clear that he isn’t interested in acting in a remake film as he would be influenced by the lead actor of the original. Nevertheless, Mahesh has no qualms regarding his films remade into other languages. His game changer movie ‘Okkadu’ is being remade in Hindi as ‘Tevar’ with Arjun Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha playing the protagonists.

When asked if Arjun had met Mahesh Babu, the Boney Kapoor’s son says that he didn’t meet him recently but earlier he did. He even got a text message from Mahesh when the trailer of the remake was released. One can easily guess he got a thumbs up from Tollywood Prince obviously.

This is not the first time. When Mahesh’s ‘Dookudu’ was remade into Kannada as ‘Power’and Mahesh even graced the audio launch and promoted the film with his appearance and word of mouth. Bangalore went crazy to see Mahesh during the audio release. Coming to ‘Tevar’, Mahesh’s fans are equally interested to see how their star’s character shaped up after 10 years.
