Why small films are not using DTH platform?

An increasing number of low-budget Telugu films are constantly looking at options to find an additional medium of exhibition for their films beside sticking to conventional theatrical release. In the last few months, as many as five and more Telugu films have released their films online along with theatrical release.

However, these films are still explore DTH platform as one of the options for content exhibition. In fact, DTH promises higher returns and helps in reach masses within the country. It’s high time, instead of spending crores on promotions, low-budget films should start think investing the money in DTH.

While releasing online is a good move, but is relatively less lucrative because most Indians seldom watch a movie online. However, it’s only Indians in foreign countries who prefer watching these film online.
