Why Thani Oruvan wrong choice for Charan?

‘Thani Oruvan’ definitely caught the eye of the biggies in the film industry, not only in the South but also in Bollywood. Amidst rumors that Salman Khan is going to bag the rights for Hindi remake, it’s Ram Charan’s name that is making rounds in Tollywood circles.

‘Thani Oruvan’ has a serious plot and the antagonist character played by Aravind Swamy is almost equal to the role of the hero in the film. In fact, he turned out to be the show stealer in the film. He is the heart of the film and one of the major characters.

The story demands subtle performances, actors who can portray the nuances with ease. Ram Charan yet to come up with a critically acclaimed performance.

If Charan is to take up the remake project, the Telugu version has to tone down the villain’s character to reduce dominance which would change the theme of the story. Nevertheless, there is always a scope and hope that this film could be Charan’s entry card to prove critics wrong.
