The recent teaser of Rajinikanth’s upcoming gangster drama ‘Kaala’ gave us the glimpses of one of the most revered actors of our times, Nana Patekar playing the antagonist. Initially, the actor said, “No”, to the role in ‘Kaala’.

Nana Patekar felt that he wouldn’t be able to pull off an antagonist role. But, it was because of only Rajinikanth he agreed to do the movie. But then, the superstar feels that no one was going to look at him while Nana Patekar is around.

The combination of Rajinikanth as the protagonist and Nana Patekar as the antagonist is a deadly combination and if everything works well and if Pa Ranjith delivers as expected, ‘Kaala’ will set the right backdrop for Rajinikanth as a political leader.
