Will Akhanda Do a Kantara On Pathaan?

Nandamuri Balakrishna’s blockbuster Akhanda is now going to release in Hindi on the 20th of January. The film’s Hindi version is releasing after more than a year after its original Telugu version.

Nowadays, people in the North are particularly fascinated by South Indian movies that proudly showcase our culture and traditions. Recent examples are Kantara and Karthikeya 2. Especially, Kantara created havoc in the Hindi belt grossing over 100 crores in Hindi.

Akhanda also glorifies Lord Shiva and his divine power. As everyone knows, North Indians are huge devotees of Shiva, and trade experts in the North believe that Akhanda has a lot of ingredients to attract the Hindi-speaking audience.

SRK’s much-awaited Pathaan is releasing on the 25th of January, and some people are of the opinion that if Akhanda connects with the North audience, it might turn out to be a mini sensation and also dent collections of Pathaan in many circuits.
