Sankranthi 2023 is already jampacked with biggies like Adipurush (likely to be postponed), Waltair Veerayya, and Veera Simha Reddy. There’s also a dubbing film Vaarasudu. So, can Agent find patronage in such a scenario?
Ideally, this is the best time for the Agent to release. Amid senior heroes, a youthful action thriller film can also attract the audience if the content clicks. Also, action lovers will watch Agent as their first choice during the festive season.
Akkineni films are lacking hype these days but if Agent comes and clashes with biggies, then it will automatically hit all the headlines and will get free publicity and hype.
The teaser received a great response from the trade and the audience, so Akhil’s Agent can give tough competition to senior heroes if well made.
On the other hand, some are saying that a lot is at stake with Agent. It is a huge-budget film and it will need some free space to make collections. It is not a small film like Soggade Chinni Nayana that can achieve break even with a 50-60 crore share.
